Opening this month!

September 10th, 2011

Russel Hulsey is an artist and poet living in Louisville, KY.  He has exhibited work in numerous venues, including a 2010 solo exhibition at 21c Museum, a solo show at the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum, and in the 2002 group show "Other Bodies" at the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, KY.  Most recently, he was selected to participate in the Creative Capital Foundation's Professional Development Program (2010), and received an Al Smith Fellowship (2006).  Recent work may be found at Revelry Gallery, 21c Museum, and Rosenwald Wolf Gallery (Philadelphia); recent publications and press to be found in Vision Magazine (Beijing), and the Paper (Louisville).  Hulsey graduated with a BA in Philosophy from the University of Louisville in 2005.

Also showing: Nerissa Sparkman a London-based photographer who, through creative use of light and lens, leads us on a beautiful, intense thrill ride in her latest series, which begs one question,
"Feelin' Lucky, Punk?"

What a great Labor Day weekend!

Our weekend trip to Trimble County, KY was wonderful.  We went fishing, road 4-Wheelers,
grilled out, and enjoyed Little Kentucky River Winery's Smoke House Red.

Thanks so much to David and Teresa Weyler for their hospitality!
